The Secret is out, but green building is not new to us; its’ who we are and what we do! It doesn’t have to cost more or look funny to be environmentally responsible. We use an integrated systematic approach with our Design and Construction Team. This enables us to ergonomically build a more energy efficient Home or Commercial Application. The Key is Energy Conservation.

Some of the ways we accomplish reducing our CARBON footprint:

• We incorporate passive Solar Elements through Correctly Sizing Windows to capture natural light. These windows not only utilize the latest Hurricane Impact Technology but come equipped with Low E-mittance Glass which not only keeps those nasty Hurricanes out but keeps your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. One way to achieve high insulation R-Value is to use sprayed on Insulation made from both recycled Plastics and Soy yes Soy Beans.
  
  
• With all the Droughts lately we Save H2O by zero-scaping with native plants which require minimal water and are not dependent on pesticides to thrive. . Landscaping is Gods Planet Air-Filter. Not only do plants and trees produce Oxygen but one tree can filter up to 60lbs of pollutants in a Calendar year. We advocate the use of Low Volatile Organic compounds for better inside air quality. The number one threat to the Health of our waterways is runoff from drive ways and streets we recycle a lot of that runoff through the use of swales and burms.
  
  
• We use tank less hot water heaters which supply Hot water when you want it rather than a Conventional Heater which constantly heats a large water reservoir. Energy efficient Appliances can save up to 30 % over standard appliances. An example of this is a frontloading clothes washer which uses one third the detergents and only 40% of the water.
  
  
• Save a tree by using engineered wood such as OSB, and LVL and utilizing factory engineered and built roof trusses we use a lot less trees by minimal zing waste. We also try to minimize jobsite waste by recycling as much as possible. Unlike CCA Pressure Treated wood which contains Arsenic and ACQ Pressure treated wood which contains high doses of copper which eats at neiboring metals. We use Wolmanized L3 Pressure Treated Wood with carbon based organic preservatives pesticide and water repellency. Not only is it Safe; and organic but it wont damage Galvanized metal and Aluminum Flashings. It works especially well her in our South Florida Salt Air Environment.
  
  
• Our Mechanical Air-conditioning Systems far exceed Florida Building Code Requirements for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Requirements. UsingR-410A is environmentally friendly and helps to prevent depletion of the Ozone Layer. Plasmo Filtration helps absorb Odors and collects Dust and Pollen.
  
  
• We Love LED and Fluorescent Light fixtures. They aid in overall home cooling by not generating as much ambient heat and are great products for Laundry room Closets and Garages etc.
